Instructions for the Dice-and-Disease Simulation
The simulation consists of at least five stages, and each stage lasts for about two minutes, with a short break between each stage.
Steps:
- Record your identification number on your data record sheet.
- During each stage, walk around the room and establish contact with other students, that is, exchange identification numbers and record the numbers in your data sheet.
- Determine if your encounter was a risky encounter: Roll your dice. If the sum of the two rolls is less or equal to 5, your encounter was a risky encounter. Circle your partner's
identification number on your data sheet.
- Repeat Steps 1-3 until the phase ends.
- Repeat Steps 1-4 for the remaining phases.
