Something About

Thomas Cooper

I am a full time instructor of mathematics at the Lawrenceville Campus of Georgia Perimeter College. I have taught a wide range of courses from Math 0097 Basic Algebra to Math 2652 Ordinary Differential Equations. This semester, I have three College Algebra courses and two Calculus I courses. In the Spring, I will be teaching Pre Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. I try to incorporate technology into my classes as much as possible. Our campus is very lucky to have excellent technology including Smart Boards in very room. You can view my GPC web page here.

My educational background is in mathematics. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics at the University of Tennessee. This fall, I have begun taking classes part time toward a PhD in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia.
