A Pedal Triangle is a triangle constructed by first constructing any triangle ABC and locating a pedal point outside ABC. Create extended lines AB, BC, AC. Construct perpendicular lines with extended lines and P. At the intersection of those perpendiculars a triangle will be formed as shown below.
Now lets take a look at a few examples of moving the pedal point P and seeing the effect that has on the location of our new triangle.
