What's the Probability of Getting Heads When You Flip a Coin?

Michelle Greene

For this investigation, we will look at the probability of getting heads when we flip a coin. First, we will take a look at what happens when we flip one coin. Then, we will look at flipping two, three, four, and five coins. We will compare the empirical probability to the theoretical probability. We will be using Excel to represent the flipping of the coin.

One Coin

Two Coins
