Connection:
*We are assuming that all students have
a personal lap-top to use in the classroom.
Students will use a program
called Fathom 2 to complete lesson 2. They will learn to import
data from different sources into Fathom for analysis purposes.
They learn to make tables and graphs within the program to help
them look for patterns and make conjectures.
Here is a sample of what student
graphs should look like for this particular lesson.
* Students will have much more data
than shown in this example.
Through the use of this program,
students should become more comfortable with using technology
to analyze data. Visual representations of data are readily available
with the use of this program.
