I have taught middle and high school math classes for six years at The Chinquapin School in Highlands, TX, near Houston. I taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus and AP Calculus. I also coached Track & Field. In my last season, spring 2005, the boys' varsity team came in second at the state TAPPS meet and the girls' varsity team came in second at the district TAPPS meet.

Currently I am a doctoral student in the Mathematics Education Program at University of Georgia. In my first semester I am taking Real Analysis with Azoff, Geometry with Mo Hendon, EMAT 8010 with Kilpatrick and EMAT 6680 with Dr. Wilson. I am also hoping to help review and edit for the student-produced mathematics research journal, The Mathematics Educator.
