I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 15, 1985.  Prior to living in Athens and attending UGA, I spent my entire childhood and early adult years in Cumming, Georgia.  I am part of a loving family of four, with a brother three years younger than me.  My mother is a high school English teacher, and my father owns a company in the tradeshow business.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, snowboarding, exploring, etc.  I enjoy spending time in the mountains and on Lake Lanier.  I love to travel and experience new things, new languages, and new cultures.  I spent one spring semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy, and enjoyed seeing new things and traveling throughout Europe.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, crossword puzzles, taking pictures, spending time with friends, and meeting new people.  I love being active and playing recreational volleyball and basketball.

I am an undergraduate at The University of Georgia studying Mathematics Education.  My hope is to become a high school math teacher.  I plan on teaching in a high school for a couple of years and then attend graduate school for administration.
