I am a first year doctoral student in the Mathematics Education program. I received a B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics Education and a M.S. in Mathematics from Utah State University before moving to Athens with my wife Joy. Shortly afterwards we welcomed our daughter Jocelyn into our lives. We chose the name Jocelyn because a baby-name book told us that it means "little joy." Joy and Jocelyn keep my days fun and my life on track.
