Born in Miami, FL, my family moved to Athens, GA when I was twelve or thirteen years old. Since then, I've tried again and again to leave Athens, but something keeps me coming back. I'm not sure whether it's the southern charm, the ginkos, or the Grit, but one thing's for sure: Athens is pretty awesome.

I'm currently beginning my third semester in the Master in Education program in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia. When I'm not studying, you can catch me honing my bridge skills along with my fabulous partner, Patrick, at the local bridge club. If you enjoy playing bridge and live in the Southeast, you can probably catch us once or twice a month in a tournament in GA, TN, NC, or SC.

Just don't expect to see us playing anywhere on October 1--that's my sister's big debut on CSI: Miami! To celebrate, I'll be busy making paella and plantains--a little taste of Miami, or at least that's the idea!
