A little bit about me…

I have been teaching at Clarke Middle School for 6 years. I am currently teaching 8^th grade math (and implementing the GPS as well as CMP2). I have served as the cheerleading coach for 5 years. I now serve as the faculty sponsor for cheerleading while I am in graduate school. I am also the PRISM (Partnership for Reform in Math and Science) Lead Teacher for CMS and the 8^th grade co-team leader. For the past 4 years, my Algebra I students have scored in the top 8 on the End-of-Course Test (EOCT) for the state of Georgia. Last year, we had the highest scores in the state on the EOCT!

I earned by BS Ed. at Samford University in Birmingham in 2001 and completed my M.Ed at the University of Georgia in 2002. I am currently working on an ED.S at UGA in middle school with a concentration in mathematics.
