Assignment 3: Quadratic and Cubic Equations

In this assignment I am going to give some examples for Quadratic and Cubic equations.

1) Graphs in the xb Plane:

The graph of

 

As one see from above graph when we plot x² + xy + 1 = 0 then grap will have two parts one is in the second quadrant and the other is in the fourth quadrant. The distance between one vertex to origin is equal to the onother. Also graph doesn't intersect with y-axis because when we plug x=0 to our equation then it cancels y.

When we plot x² + xy + 1 = 0 and x² + xy - 1 = 0 then our graph will look like above graph.

The graph of here c is taking values from -3 to 3:

2) Adding to 2x+b=0 to graph:

We get below graph after we add 2x+b=0, here c takes values from -3 to 3 again.

 

3) Graphs in xc Plane:

The graphs of : here b takes values from -4 to 4.

 

4) Graphs in xa plane:

The graph of equation . Here b takes values from -5 to 5:
