about
Ashley Jones
I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. In May of 2010 I graduated with my Bachelors in Mathematics Education. Before graduating I made the decision to return to the University of Georgia to continue my education. I am now in my first semester of graduate school with the hopes of obtaining my Masters in Mathematics Education. I am a full time student, and therefore am not currently teaching. However, I am certified and will be ready to begin teaching in my own classroom very soon!
This school year I am joined by my little sister who is begining her freshman year at the University of Georgia. At the moment, she is also majoring in Mathematics Education. Apparently a love for mathematics runs in the family.
In my spare time I love running and playing various sports. I especially love playing basketball and hope to one day coach at the highschool level. I also enjoy traveling with my friends and family. Within the past few years, I have found a new passion for skiing/snowboarding and skydiving!
On Saturday afternoons you can find me in Sanford Stadium cheering our Georgia Bulldawgs onto another victory. I have been a Dawg fan since I was born, and love going to as many athletic events as possible.
