Something About Me:

My name is Sean Johnston, and I am a second year graduate student at the University of Georgia. I completed a BS mathematics and a BA philosophy from the University of Georgia in may of 2007. Afterwards, I spent four years as a logisticsman in the marines. After this, I returned to the University of Georgia to study mathematics education so that I can ultimately end up a high school teacher. My experience working with students in the high school age group is limited to five years as a lifeguard and a field experience last fall, but I have a strong mathematics background and am excited to work with high school students full time when I begin my student teaching in the spring. In my free time, I enjoy athletics, particularly rowing and mixed martial arts, and traveling to warm locations.
