This is the graph that the above functions produced. You can see the difference between the even numbered exponent functions (blue and purple) and odd numbered functions (green and red). As you can see the even numbered functions produce a figure that looks like a square with rounded edges. As the function gers smaller the figure does look more like a circle. The odd numbered functions produce a segemnt that produces sharper bends at 1 on the x and y axis. From these results I predict that the higher exponent functions will produce more square functions that bend sharply at 1 on the x,y axis.

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see the bigger functions produced much sharper bends and half of each curve looks exactly the same for both the odd and even numbered exponents. With this project I was able to discover the difference in even and odd functions and what can happen when the exponent of those functions is increased.
