Exponential Function - Let A=n
Variable A is the root of the function. If we were talking about this function in the financial sense, A would be the principal or the amount that we started with or to grow from. As this amount is increased, the function gets closer and closer to the y axis.

Also notice that as A becomes smaller, it eventually could equal 1 or even 0. If 0 then the function becomes a line, because c is constant. That is what is happening when the function flattens out very rapidly.

 

If A=1 then the function depends on the value of the other variables for the growth. But the growth will take more time.
