I studied at Kennesaw State under Pamela Drummond where I earned a BS in mathematics and mathematics education. I taught at Fayette County High School in Fayetteville, Ga (originally on LaFayette Drive) from 1993 to 2002. During this time, I earned my MS in mathematics education studying under Hiram Johnson and Jack Downes. Then I decided, through much arm twisting by Dennis and Trisha Hembree, to start my Ph. D. in mathematics education at UGA.
