Angles

By: Tim Lehman

Given:

Construction:

Construct triangle **AYZ** such that angle
**A** is equal to the given angle **A** and angle **Y**
is equal to the given angle **B**. Thus, triangle **AYZ**
is similar to triangle **ABC**.

Because of the similarity of **AYZ** and
**ABC**, **AZ** is to** b** as **YZ** is to **c**.
Thus, we can use **AZ** and** ZY **to find the lengths of
**b** and **c**. With the lengths of **b** and** c**,
the vertices **B** and **C** can then be found and triangle
**ABC** can be constructed.
