Me and My Family

I am the third child of six Mylods...........well, I really share that spot with my identical twin brother, Paul. I have an older sister, Rosemary, who is married to husband, Mike. They have three children, Patrick (July, '99), Katherine Sarah (February, '01) and William Paul (Januray, '03). I also have an older brother, Bob, who is married to wife, Heather. They also have three children, Ned (July, '99) and Maisy (March, '01) and Emma (September, '02). Currently, Rosemary and Mike live in London while Bob and Heather reside in New Canaan, Connecticut. Here is a picture of Rosemary and Bob, their spouses and sons Patrick and Ned at their christening.

Paul, my twin, lives with his wife, Kathleen, and two children, Morgan (December, '95) and MacKenzie (December, '99), in Orlando, Florida. Paul works for an audio/video recording school, called Full Sail, as an admissions representative.

Monica is a couple of years younger than I. She currently lives in Pasadena, California where she started her own promotions company for the music industry, promoting alternative bands up and down the Pacific coast. She wed husband, Kevin, in November, 2001, who also is in the music industry. Monica and Kevin just celebrated the birth of their first child, Aiden Alanzo, in February, 2003. Here is a picture of Monica and Kevin on their wedding day.

Megan just graduated from Georgetown University (December, '02) where she received a degree in English with a math minor. She completed her academia down under (Melbourne, Austrailia) in November, 2001 for a study abroad program in English. She will take a few months to travel the world before setting up shop in Los Angeles in the financial world.

Finally, my parents are traveling around the world to see all of their grandchildren. When they're not on the road, they're hanging their hats in New Jersey. My dad, Poppy as he is known amongst the grandkids, continues to maintain his company under the acronym, IIAB-ING (If It Ain't Bad, It's No Good). IIAB-ING's primary focus is to provide a forum for its members to converse amongst a sundry of refreshments. In other words, let's give Grandpa and the grandchildren an excuse to eat nothing but sweets to their hearts' content! It's a very exclusive organization with 11 members currently in the club (the nine grandchilden, Poppy, and honorary member, MomMom)!

As a final note, we Mylods are pretty big fans of folk rock artist James Taylor. Amongst us all we own multiple copies of all of his albums, from James Taylor and the Original Flying Machine back in 1968 to his current LP, JT's Greatest Hits, Vol II, in 2000. We went so far as to go into a studio and record our own version of "Shower the People". Then we delivered a copy of it, in person, to JT himself at a concert in Detroit in 1996. Here's a picture of my family with James Taylor at that concert.

Find out what I've been up to lately.
