Brad Simmons

I am currently a mathematics teacher at Stephens County High School in Toccoa, Georgia. In 1987, I graduated from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia with a double major in mathematics and computer information systems.

As a four year letterman in college baseball with two years experience working as a computer programmer, I returned to Piedmont College as the Head Women's Basketball Coach and Head Softball Coach. While back in the college environment, I completed my teaching certification.

After a year of teaching math and coaching at Greenwood High School in South Carolina, I spent two years in Athens and in 1994 completed a Masters degree in Sport Management from UGA.

Since leaving Athens, I taught math and coached four years at Stephens County High School, taught math and coached three years at Habersham Central High School, and have begun work on my Specialist degree in mathematics education at UGA.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling to sporting events and playing golf
