Hi. I am Doug Westmoreland. I was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia. I graduated form Stephens County High School in 1980 and attended the University of Georgia from 1980-1984. I received my BS degree in Math Education from UGA in 1984. I have been teaching at Habersham Central High School, in Mt. Airy, for the past 18 years. In 1995, I received my Master's Degree in Math Education from North Georgia College. I recently finished my Specialist's Degree at the University of Georgia the Summer of 2003.
I am married to the former Donna Hudson from Mt. Airy, Georgia, and have two wonderful children. Brooke is my 14 year old daughter and Nathan is my 9 year old son. We have one dog whose name is Petie.
I attend Liberty Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia. My whole family is actively involved in many activities at Liberty.
I enjoy just about all outdoor activities. I really enjoy playing golf, tennis, and softball. I also enjoy playing chess and picking Bluegrass music (check out some of my favorite sites on my home page).
