## Coin Toss Experiment:

Have the students divide up into groups of two and flip a coin
16 times and record the outcome.

Each time have the students flip four times. (so there will
be 64 actual tosses)

Have the students make a chart that will help them to see the
distribution of the experiment.

Let the random variable x be the number of heads

x=1 TTHT, TTTH, THTT, HTTT

x=2 TTHH. THHT. HHTT. THTH. HTHT. HTTH

x=3 THHH, HTHH, HHTH, HHHT

x=4 HHHH
