Lesson:  Introduction to Trigonometry

This instructional unit is intended as an introduction to trigonometry and trigonometric graphs for students who have a sound knowledge of geometry and graphing techniques from Algebra II.  It is not intended to be an exhaustive presentation of the concepts but serves more as a technologically based instructional unit designed to enrich a student's basic understanding of the concepts through animation and other visual tools.

DAY 1:  Ratios in a Right Triangle

DAY 2:  Degrees and Radians/Coterminal and Reference Angles

DAY 3:  The Unit Circle

DAY 4:  Graphs of Sine and Cosine

DAY 5:  More Sine and Cosine Graphs

DAY 6:  Tangent and Reciprocal Graphs

DAY 7:  Applications   

DAY 8:  Assessment
