CONSTRUCTION OF AN OROTHCENTER

Construct a triangle labeled ABC

Construct the altitude from vertex A to segment BC. This is done by constructing a perpendicular line from vertex A to segment BC

Now we construct the altitudes from vertex C to segment AB and vertex B to segment AC

The point where all three altitudes intersect is known as the orthocenter...labeled as point H

Note: Point H does not have to fall on the line segments that are altitudes but can be found on the lines extended along the altitudes
