A Little Information
about
Rita L. Snyder
Where
to begin...it has been over 10 years since I have been a classroom...I'm
a graduate of Louisiana Tech University class of 1991. I earned
my bachelor's degree in General Studies with an emphasis is Math
Education. The day I graduated from Tech I also got my commission
as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. I went
on active duty in January 1992 and have been enjoying the military
life ever since. I have had to opportunity to do a great deal
of traveling not only in the United States but also in Asia and
Europe. Currently I am teaching Air Force ROTC here at the University
of Georgia (loving every minute of it) and working on my Masters
in Math Education (Wish me luck!!). This past year has been a
very busy one for me along with teaching and working on my master,
I was promoted to the rank of Major and started a new job in the
Aerospace Department. If that wasn't enough, I was recently married
(Aug 2002) in St Francisville, Louisiana...a very beautiful location
called Greenwood Plantation. It was definitely a day to remember.
So now together with Tim (my husband), our one cat, Tiger, and
one dog, Dixie and a child on the way (due in June) make the Snyder
family!!
