In 1988 I graduated from Milligan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and secondary education.  In 1992 I graduated from the University of Tennesse with a Master of Mathematics degree.  I am currently working on the Education Specialist Degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia.

I am currently teaching in the Freshman Academy at South Forsyth High School. The subjects I am teaching this year include Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B, Algebra 2, and Concepts/Algebra. This is my seventh year teaching high school. My previous teaching experience includes teaching for 6 years in Tennessee and Georgia.  At the high school level I have taught Math8, Pre-Algebra and Concepts/Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Advanced Math, and Precalculus.  I have taught as adjunct faculty for three years at Walters State Community College, Johnson Bible College, and DeKalb College.  The subjects I have taught at the college level include college algebra, math concepts, and an overview math class for elementary education majors.

I have been married for 15 years and have 3 beautiful daughters, ages 3, 6, 9.  My two oldest daughters participate in youth cheerleading and competition cheerleading. I have also coached a 9/10 youth cheerleading squad at the local park.
