Given line segments j, k, and m.

If these are the medians of a triangle, construct the triangle.

Begin by placing segment j.

Using segment k as the radius, construct a circle with center at endpoint A of segment j.

Using segment m as the radius, construct a circle with center at endpoint B of segment j.

Construct the point of intersection, P, of the two circles.

Note: If the two circles do not intersect, it is not possible to draw a triangle using the given segments.

Construct segments AP and BP.

This will construct the medial triangle.

Using point A, construct a line parallel to segment BP.

Using point B, construct a line parallel to segment AP.

Using point P, construct a line parallel to segment AB.

Constructing all points of intersection of these parallel lines should give the vertices of the triangle. Construct the segments connecting these points.
