Welcome to my site, I am a first year graduate student at the University of Georgia (UGA). I am enrolled in the Mathematics Education program here at UGA. My journey here has been quite an interesting one. In the Winter of the 2000 year I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology located in Atlanta, Georgia. I worked for about a year at a small engineering firm in the metro-Atlanta area. Not enjoying my work I decided to change career paths and pursue a higher degree educating others, since I had been tutoring and teaching abroad.
