Lauren
My name is Lauren Reavis and I am a
Masters student in Middle School Education
here at the University of Georgia.
My two areas of concentration are Language
Arts and Mathematics.
I am graduating this
May with my Masters degree!
I have just secured my first teaching
job at a school that I have always wanted to teach in, Crews Middle
School in Gwinnett County. I will be teaching 8th grade Language
Arts.
I really want to teach Mathematics,
but the school in which I began my teaching career was more important
to me than the subject...at least at first. Crews is not offering
any positions in Mathematics, however, I think I will have a good
chance of switching to math after I have taught there a year.
Either way I can still help students
in Mathematics...which is what I want to do!
