Circle Investigation #2

Here is something interesting to explore. Given a circle, a point inside the circle (Point A), and a point on the circle (Point B), construct a segment from the point A to the point B and then construct a perpendicular segment from the point on the circle and the original segment. Construct the midpoint (Point M)of the perpendicular segment. As point B moves around the circle, what type of object is the locus of the midpoint? What happens if the given point is located on the outside of the circle?
