About Lisa Brock
I graduated from the
University of Florida in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After a 2-year stint auditing financial
statements at Arthur Andersen LLP, I decided to change careers. A good move considering the companyÕs
current demise!
In
January 1999 I began teaching math at Cooper City High School in Cooper City,
FL. I moved to Atlanta in June
2001. I taught 8th
grade math for two years at River Trail Middle School in Duluth, GA.
I am
currently taking a year away from teaching to focus my full attention on
completing a Masters in Math Education.
I plan to finish my Masters degree in August 2004. I will be seeking a position as a math
teacher at a high school in the greater Atlanta area.
