This write up explores the use of spreadsheet in
math instruction. As an example, lets consider the following problems that is
interesting and also teaches about exponential growth.We will demonstrate a y =
2x function.
If you have a Billionaire father, and he gives
you two of the following options to choose from for an allowance, which one
would you choose.
1.One cent on the first day of month. And
doubles the amount every following day of the month.For. Ex. 2nd day
you get 2 cents, 3rd day you get 4 cents etc.
2. $100,000 on the first day of every month.
