WAVELENGTH = the distance on a wave from one peak to the next peak

HORIZONTAL DISPLACEMENT = the amount of shift of a graph along the x-axis (the shifting of a graph from left and right)

VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT = the amount of shift of a graph along the y-axis (the shifteng of a graph up and down)
