Board of Regents adopted the Georgia P-16 Initiative in March 1995. The
Post-Secondary Readiness Enrichment Program is the vehicle through which P-16
seeks to meet the needs of Georgia's youth. The summer component in which I
taught, mentored, and researched served to carry students through the months
they were out of school, therefore limiting the chance of jeopardizing the
success they achieved during the school year.
