A Sample of
My Work
- My Ideas About Teaching: A discussion of my general teaching
philosophy and how I implemented it into the following lessons.
- Exploring
Magic Squares: This exploration focuses
on the historical contributions of the Chinese and other peoples in the
study of magic squares. Included in this exploration is a warm up I created
to use in introducing systems of linear equations. A discussion of the
different types of magic squares and some algorithms for creating them
are also included.
- Exploring Triangles: This exploration focuses on some of the centers of triangles
including the centroid, circumcenter, incenter and orthocenter and their
relation to the Euler line. A demonstration of Napoleon's theorem is also
included as well as a lesson using Fermat's point.
