Students will perform experiments to determine the distribution of a pair of dice. Pairs of students will collect, record, and graph data.

Students will present their findings in groups of four. Each group will consolidate their findings and graph.

Each group will present their findings to the class. The entire class will record and graph the overall data.

Discussions should highlight observations made about the number of trials and the affect on the data and the graph.

Students should be encouraged to make conjectures.

Students will use probability software to simulate a large number of trials. A distribution graph will be constructed using the simulated data. Contrasts and comparisons will be made between the simulated graph and the class' graph.
