Million Drops of Water

Click here for the original question.

When I taught chemistry, my students performed a lab in which they calculated the density of water from counting the number of drops of water in a milliliter and graphing the mass vs. # of drops. Depending on the type of pipet used to count the drops and the carefulness of the student in ensuring the drops were as equal as possible, the number of drops varied from 30 drops per milliliter to 75 drops per milliliter.

Solution 1:

Solution 2:

So, I think a bath in 1,000,000 drops of water would be a more appropriate use.
