Paul Frank Detwiler

I was born during the middle of the Cuban Missle Crisis. My parents were serving overseas in Mainz Germany at the time. I get the feeling this was just a preview to my life's stability. Since my father was in the Army I was afforded the opportunity to live in Germany and travel most of Europe. While in the states my family has lived mostly in Georgia and Virginia (I really don't claim the latter of the two very much). I did graduate from high school here in Georgia and attended the University of Georgia in the early eighty's. I recieved my BA in Theatre from UGA, and promptly started to teach math to US Army soldiers in Europe. I finally got around to teaching in the States and started on my Master's in Mathematics Education in the summer of 1993.
