Some Explorations with Euclid and Poincare

Introduction

The ability to view alternative geometries using the personal computer allows the flexible construction of a hyperbolic geometry based on the Poincare model. An exploration of this geometry is then easily possible. This paper concerns explorations of some relationships between Euclidean geometry and the Poincare disk [1] using the Geometer's Sketchpad (GSP) [2].
