To look at these, we will use the parent function of f(x) = |x|. In the homework, you will look at transformations involving the functions, f(x) = x^2 and f(x) = sqrt (x).
Remember, that these transformations to do not occur in a vacuum. It is possible to have more than one transformation at a time.
