SOMETHING ABOUT ANGIE
AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY
SOME BACKGROUND INFO
I was born in Monroe, Georgia. I attended Monroe Area Comprehensive High
School where I was on the softball, basketball, and track teams. I was also
an active member in several different clubs in high school. Some of these
clubs are the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, FBLA, and Co-Ed Y.
After high school, I attended Young Harris College. During my stay at Young
Harris, I was a member of their collegiate softball team and I was also
a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. I graduated from Young Harris
College in 1994 with an Associate of Science in Mathematics. I graduated
from UGA last spring with a BS in Mathematics. While at UGA, I became a
member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. I am now a graduate student
in the Department of Mathematics at UGA. After I graduate, I would like
to go back to the North Georgia Mountains or to my old high school to teach
and to coach softball and track.
MY HOBBIES
I have many hobbies and most of them have to do with sports and the outdoors.
For as long as I can remember, I have been playing sports and I have been
spending a lot of time in the outdoor life. I like to hike, camp, and fish.
Since there is not a fast pitch softball team near that I can play on, I
have decided to coach. I coach softball during the spring and summer. I've
been coaching fast pitch softball for the past four years in my hometown
of Monroe, Ga. I've coached all ages, from 9 to 18.
