What am I currently doing?
I am a PHD student in Mathematics Education at The University of Georgia.
I have taken a leave of absence from my job as Assistant Professor in the
Departments of Mathematics/Computer Science and Learning Support at Georgia
Southern University to work on this degree. My major professor is Dr. James
W. Wilson.
What have I done in the past?
I taught in grades 7 - 12 for three years at Screven Academy in Sylvania,
Georgia. I have taught mathematics for 12 years at Georgia Southern University
in Statesboro, Georgia.
What about family and birthplace?
I was born in Millen, Georgia many many years ago. My birthday is July
16. I grew up
"in the back woods of Jenkins County". My dad was a farmer. I
have two brothers.
