I graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications from California State University, Northridge in 1981. Following graduation, I was hired by the IBM Corporation in a marketing capacity. I worked for seventeen years and then took advantage of an early out program which allowed me to start a graduate degree in math education at the University of Georgia in 2003.
I am married to my wife of fourteen years, Liz and we have two beautiful daughters: Michael, age 12 and Madison, age 5.
