Day 9

Review

Objectives:

1- To use an activity to reinforce most of the material from the preceding days’ teachings.

2- To prepare for the next day’s evaluation.

I think a good idea would be to put the class into groups and assign each group a different topic to cover. Let them work for about 10 minutes and decide what they want to review with the class. Have them come to the front of the class and go over what they think was important from the section they were assigned. The teacher will be there to help along and make sure the big topics are covered. The teacher will also answer any questions that may come up or clarify any misunderstandings of the material. Each group will be in front of the class for about 5 minutes. Assign some practice problems for homework as a review. They will not be taken up for a grade, but simply for a purpose of study. If the teacher can come up with a game to play with the students that will cover many of the topics from that unit, that will be beneficial also. Make sure the students have plenty of time to ask questions if there are any confusions to them.
