Finding the Orthocenters
Marianne Parsons
Given triangle ABC, find the orthocenter
of triangle AHB, triangle BHC, and triangle CHA.
Remember, the orthocenter is defined by the
intersection of the triangle altitudes.
Triangle AHB
We can see the altitudes of
this triangle intersect at point C. Therefore, C
is the orthocenter.
Triangle BHC
We can see the altitudes of
this triangle intersect at point A. Therefore, A
is the orthocenter.
Triangle CHA
We can see the altitudes of
this triangle intersect at point B. Therefore, B
is the orthocenter.
