A recent experiment in making stained glass combined with my typical enthusiasm about geometry has left me intrigued by patterns and designs created within the famework of circles. While a number of stained glass patterns, incorporate circular design, a plethora of circle designs are associated with crop circle sightings.
Somewhat surprisingly, a number of purported crop circle designs display interesting mathematical (as well as aesthetic) properties. Below is a collection of investigations circular designs - including both stained glass patterns and crop circle designs.
