I grew up in Manchester, Vermont. I studied Mathematics at Siena College. My masters degree is from RPI in Natural Sciences. I have taught mathematics at the high school level for five years. My first 3 years as a teacher were at Burr and Burton Academy. The past two years I taught at Kirkwood High school. I am currently a PhD Math Education student here at UGA in my first year.
My husband, Joel, and I moved to Georgia in August. We have been married for five years and have lived in three states: Vermont, Missouri, and Georgia. Joel hopes to be a science educator and is working as a substitute teacher in the Clarke County School District. We have a boxer named Barney.
