A script tool for constructing the pedal triangle was created. In this exploration, changing the location of the pedal point to determine its’ effect on the subsequent pedal triangles was the focus of this assignment. After exploring the location at the centroid, incenter, and the orthocenter, the conjecture that was made is that location of the pedal point does not change the result. The pedal triangle of the pedal triangle of the pedal triangle is similar to the original triangle. The constructions shown below show the results that are gotten when the pedal point is located as indicated.
