I am Claudette Tucker, and I am originally from Pine Mountain. GA. My hometown is a rural, tourist community. Most people have no knowledge of this town, but it is most famous for Callaway Gardens, a small, man-made resort and Roosevelt State Park.
After high school, I chose to attend a two-year college, Andrew, simply because I desired to build a strong foundation of learning on a collegiate level. I was an active participant of Student Events and Activities, Phi Theta Honor Society, Andrew Choraliers, and I tutored in the areas of Mathematics and English. I received an Associate of Science in Education from Andrew, and later, I decided to transferred to LaGrange College (LC). Here I became a general member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. On May 21, 2005, I obtained a BA in Mathematics from LC. I am currently pursuing an MEd in Mathematics Education. I am driven to become a math educator, who inspires and motivates all students.
