I'm a first year doctoral student in
mathematics education. My research
interests include contextual math and using technology to enhance mathematics
instruction.
Other math courses I'm taking this semester include:
Foundations of Graduate Mathematics and Abstract Algebra.
I also work in the University of Georgia’s
Learning Performance Support Laboratory (LPSL) with the RESA Collaborative and
Richmond County Projects.
Before coming to UGA, I was teaching at
Shawnee Mission West high school and Johnson County Community College both
located in Overland Park, Kansas. I received my Bachelor of Science and my
Masters of Science in math education from the University of Kansas.
