Autobiographical Statement

Colleen Garrett

I am a Master’s of Education student at the University of Georgia. I graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO in May 2007 with a B.S in Education. I am originally from Saint Louis, MO and have lived there my entire life. I have one sister who is a junior at Missouri State University. I love music and dancing. I took dance class for 13 years (tap, jazz, ballet, pointe) and I also played the clarinet for 8 years. I really enjoy making collages and taking pictures. I also love to travel and learn about new cultures. I have a minor in Spanish and studied abroad in Spain for a month in summer 2005. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back again.
